European Automotive Technician
Richmond, VA • Full-time
Competitive Pay
About Us:
At Delta V RVA, we focus on one thing—doing European car service the right way. We specialize in BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Mercedes and MINI, and we’ve built our reputation around honest recommendations, high-level diagnostics, and taking care of people—not just cars. We’re not a dealership, and we’re not a “volume shop.” We’re a tight team that takes pride in doing things correctly, communicating clearly, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Owner’s Perspective:
My name is Glenn, and I’ve owned Delta V since 2011.
I took over a small shop and built it into what it is today—something known for quality work, honesty, and strong relationships with our clients. We’ve held a consistent 4.9 rating on Google for years, and that doesn’t happen by accident.
I’m not a technician by trade, and I don’t pretend to be one. I’m not here to stand over your shoulder or second-guess how you do your job. My role is to make sure the shop runs right—good clients, the right tools, and a steady flow of work that actually makes sense.
I have a lot of respect for the craft. This isn’t a parts-swapping shop. We take the time to diagnose properly, communicate clearly, and fix things right the first time. That’s the standard here.
We’ve grown through word of mouth and trust, not gimmicks. I’m looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and wants to be part of a shop that runs clean and straightforward—without the chaos, shortcuts, or constant pressure you see in a lot of places.
If you need someone looking over your shoulder all day, this probably isn’t the place.
If you know what you’re doing and just want to do good work without the noise—you’ll fit in well here.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, service, and repair European vehicles (BMW, Audi, VW, MINI, with growing Porsche/Mercedes work).
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and advanced diagnostics using proper tools and processes.
- Work closely with advisors to ensure clear, accurate communication.
- Stay current with evolving vehicle technology.
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional workspace.
What We’re looking For:
- 4–5+ years experience (European preferred, but strong techs welcome).
- Solid diagnostic ability—not just parts replacement.
- Familiarity with tools like ISTA, ODIS, VCDS, Autologic, etc.
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
- Someone who shows up, contributes, and takes ownership.
Why Delta V:
- Monday–Friday 8-5 schedule (no weekends).
- Paid Holidays.
- Paid short-term disability.
- Steady workflow with quality clients—not chaos.
- Competitive pay structure based on skill and production.
- Paid training and continued development.
- A team that respects each other and the work.
